So I’m slightly encouraged by all the talk around Metro Detroit about mass transit. Everyone’s trying to keep the Super Bowl buzz going, and lots of people (general public) are saying that we need mass transit, some easy way to get to Downtown. Detroit’s got a lot to offer, but easy access isn’t really one of them. My employer is buying each of us memberships to the art museum, and I’d love to go, but if I can take a train (or a good bus) in to Downtown rather than having to drive and park, I’d be there in a heartbeat. Besides, I need to get Isaac hooked on transit early, right?
