I just got a phone call from our pulmonary nurse practitioner, Karen Braniff, from Children’s Hospital of Michigan.  And the news is very good.  At Isaac’s last sleep study in October 2006, he had 72 central apnea events in 9.2 hours.  At his sleep study this last week (March 2007), he had only 10 episodes ranging from 10-13 seconds in length.  Karen says unless something truly weird happens, she shouldn’t need to see us and neither will neurology! 

WE ARE OFFICIALLY FREE OF SPECIALISTS!!

 A brief rundown of last week: On Monday, the orthopaedic surgeon told us good riddens.  On Wednesday, the hematologist told us to do yearly checks on his blood and “GOOD BYE”.  On Friday, he had a sleep study.  Results knock out our last two specialists!  YAY for only having a pediatrician :)

 God has been unbelievably faithful to our family and those who have cared for our little guy.  We are blessed to have family and friends who have prayed fervently for the healing for sweet Isaac.  And it is no surprise that God has honored the prayers of His people and has healed Isaac’s little body.  So, thank you for praying and all glory to God for doing something amazing with them!
