Isaac officially has croup. Of course, it took a doctor visit and orders to the ER for me to believe that something could possibly be wrong with my little bug.

Chest X-rays, blood work, snot specimen (it was gross), and it was determined that he did NOT have pneumonia or RSV (a very contagious and often deadly virus that infects children under 2 years old). Instead he simply has croup and bronchitis. He’s not contagious since it’s just an inflammation of the bronchial tubes. He has been given a heavy dose of steroids (via IV) and 2 breathing treatments. He should be good as new by morning!
