Ne’er a dull moment

Today has been fabulous, but exhausting…

Isaac told Zeb, “I love you” this morning for the first time…Zeb was still floating when Isaac and I left for work.

Isaac has also started stating, “I like ______ (fill in the blank)”…This is new as of Monday and terribly adorable.  We moved his slide into his bedroom this week, which he loves and leaves us to decipher yet one more squeak he makes!

1, 2, 3! Yep..we are officially counting. He can get to 6 with help, but to 3 without assistance.

Oh, the other thing on today that was very cute..Isaac did his first “chore”. He really wanted to be in the kitchen while we were loading the dishwasher, except he wasn’t being helpful taking everything out that we had just put in.  So, what does every good parent do in a situation like that? That’s right! You give him silverware piece by piece to put IN the dishwasher so he doesn’t take other things out…He loved it and kept applauding himself after every few pieces.

I think that’s all for now. Sorry this doesn’t stay better updated, but hope this gets you through!
