Doctor Clarification…

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

I did a post a while back with all of Isaac’s docs listed….Here is a brief updated list, since so much has changed since his last birthday in April.
Dr. Yukt Singh: Pediatrician. A Wonderful man, who is attentive and cautious and  practical. He listens to parents and we highly respect his thoughts and opinions.  Isaac […]

…Results

Tuesday, December 9th, 2008

I don’t have too many specifics and can’t even really decide whether to happy or sad about the whole situation.
Isaac STILL has central sleep apnea. This particular neurologist believes it to be “significant” with “concerning desaturations”.  Isaac also has some mild and “normal” obstructive apneas.  We are working on getting a follow-up scheduled to decide […]

Sleep Study….

Monday, December 8th, 2008

We do not have the results of the study. We have been told to be thankful if we have them before Christmas, but to not expect them until after. I told them I was going to be angry if we didn’t have them before!

We met Isaac’s pediatrician this morning! He’s been seeing our family doctor until this last April, when he felt that Isaac needed more specialized care than he could provide.
Anyway, Isaac’s pedicatrician (Dr. Marcus) is awesome! He […]

BAERS Results

Saturday, May 3rd, 2008

I just got Isaac’s results today from the BAERS test. His hearing is normal and there are no quirks along the hearing pathway to the brainstem. I do not know the specific ramifications of this yet, and won’t until we see Dr. Finkel on June 16. In the meantime, I’d like to gather a little […]

BAERS

Wednesday, April 23rd, 2008

We just got back from the doctor’s office where Isaac had his BAERS test done. He did excellently. They were prepared for him with the pulse oximeter and heart rate monitor, and because our technician was a little on the paranoid side, the “crash cart” at the ready.
The sedative dosage for this test was different […]
